MONTEREY, Ky. (November 2016) – Two holiday events will celebrate the publication of “Larkspur Press: Forty Years of Making Letterpress Books in a Rural Kentucky Community 1974 – 2014,” the new book by Gabrielle Fox. It is co-published by Gasparaux Press in Canada and Larkspur Press.

In addition, there will be handmade journals by Leslie Shane, greenery from Hazelfield Farms, handcrafted soaps from Anna’s Sweet Essentials, Dara’s hand-dipped tapers and silk scarves, and pottery by Maureen Hall.
Hours for the open house will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27.
Larkspur Press is located south of Monterey on State Road 127 South. There will be a “Larkspur” sign at the turn-off from State Road 127, across from the Monterey Market.

The address is 340 Sawdridge Creek West. If it has been raining, it’s best to call ahead to make sure the causeway is open. The phone number is (502) 484-5390.
